Home from Home
This is our very valuable associate, a child-protection agency which manages and guides over 30 foster homes In the Cape. They have from the first beginnings of the Trust assisted and advised us.
Their principal method of setting up and running a foster home has been used as a pilot program by the SA Social Service Department. The steering committee of the trust meets monthly with members of HFH. Our foster mother is regularly visited by HFH Social Worker and is invited to attend once a month a workshop given by HFH for all the foster mothers.

St Peter’s Episcopal Church, Arlington Virginia,USA
In 2009 through one of our trustees Diana and her husband Robert we connected with St Peter’s Mission team. Anna Fernau initiated interest and was the leader of a very dynamic and faith-driven group who arrived in Simon’s Town in August 2011 and visited our 2010 established “Home to Grow” with 27 parishioners.
The group has not stopped working for us and raising funds for the building of our second home. They arrived again in August 2014 to work on both houses, play with our children, teach them and take them on outings.
