ABOUT THE HOMES:
The Trust runs two homes in Masiphumelele, a township in the South Peninsula of Cape Town, South Africa. These foster homes provide nurturing family environments for children and provide them with the opportunity to grow up without the stigma of living in institutional children’s homes. Each home accommodates six children and their foster mother. Through the mothers’ loving care and guidance the children lead healthy, and fully engaged lives.
The first home was completed in 2010 and the second in 2016.
